School's are now beginning to catch on to the new phenomenon that is social networking. They are beginning to block websites such as Myspace and Facebook, and as technologies improve, those blocks become strong and harder to bypass. Luckily, there are still a few ways to access Facebook from a school network.

Schools often block Facebook.com, Facebook's normal website, but fail to block Facebook's mobile website. . You can also directly visit the mobile websites on a regular internet browser by typing in the mobile URL: m.facebook. com

Another interesting way to access Facebook at school is through Google Translator, found at Google.com. Type Facebook.com into the 'Translate a Webpage' box, and translate from English to English (Changing the URL to a most-likely unblocked URL).

You can also visit Facebook at school using Google Cached websites, or older versions of the website that might not be blocked. To access the cached version type in cache:Facebook.com. Often times the Facebook you access with this wont be significantly different than the standard, up-to-date Facebook.

Another option to Unblock Facebook at school, is to use your e-mail. Using www.flexamail. com you can access any blocked website using your e-mail. It's simple. Simply give flexamail the permission to access Facebook.com, and then you'll be able to view, and use, FB from an computer (or network), by sending an e-mail to Facebook@flexamail.com.

Of course, Proxy Sites are the quickest way of all of these solutions. These proxies make it difficult for the schools network's proxy to recognize blocked websites, and will allow you to use and site from school, including Facebook. These web-proxies can, and most-likely will be, block from your school network, but there are so many being created daily that it's impossible to block them all. Simply subscribe to a proxy email list and e-mail yourself the refreshed URLs daily.
